Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and clinically capable Patient Coordinator / Medical Assistant to support both administrative and clinical operations within a fast-paced medical office environment.
This role is responsible for managing the full patient experience—from intake to check-out—while also assisting with basic clinical tasks such as vital signs and EKGs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and able to work efficiently across administrative, clinical, and coordination functions.
This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality care coordination, including special attention for VIP patients.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Intake & Front Office Operations
- Greet and check in patients upon arrival
- Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits
- Collect co-pays, required documents, and update patient demographics
- Enter and update patient information in the EMR system
- Ensure smooth patient flow and notify clinical staff of arrivals
Clinical Support Duties (Medical Assistant Functions)
- Obtain and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.)
- Perform EKGs as required
- Document clinical data accurately in the EMR
- Prepare patients for provider evaluation
- Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) Field Services: Conduct in-home patient visits to deliver, install, configure, educate patients on the use of Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) devices, verify proper device functionality and connectivity, and retrieve equipment upon completion of the monitoring program. Educate patients and caregivers on the proper use and maintenance of RPM devices. Troubleshoot basic device connectivity and operational issues during home visits.
- Mobile Phlebotomy and Specimen Collection (As Needed): Perform in-home patient visits to collect blood specimens and other authorized laboratory samples in accordance with established clinical protocols. Ensure proper labeling, handling, documentation, and timely transportation of specimens to designated laboratories for processing while maintaining chain of custody and regulatory compliance. Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters, device installations, specimen collection, and equipment retrieval.
Care Coordination
- Schedule laboratory testing, imaging, and diagnostic services
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and external providers
- Follow up on pending results, orders, and appointments
- Provide enhanced coordination and priority support for VIP patients
Patient Check-Out Process
- Review provider instructions with patients
- Schedule follow-up appointments
- Provide lab orders, referrals, and prescription instructions as directed
- Ensure all documentation and visit requirements are completed
Administrative Responsibilities
- Open, sort, and manage incoming mail
- Maintain and organize medical supplies and office inventory
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with office procedures
- Communicate effectively with providers and team members regarding patient updates

- Manage patient intake and check-out
